TabTrade - The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would round things out once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
